I DO NOT COME TO YOU BY CHANCE -FREE ONLINE PDF/READ ONLINE NOVEL

I Do Not Come to You by Chance is an African contemporary novel by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani, which follows the story of a young man, Kingsley Ibe, who is burdened with responsibility and the efforts he makes for his family. The novel explores the world of Nigerian email scams and the people behind the operation. Kingsley is the first modern African writer to have an international book deal while living in Nigeria, and the book has won the 2010 Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa and the 2010 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Book in Africa.

Kingsley’s parents believe education is the only way to true happiness in life, but when his father takes ill, the family must decide what to do. Kingsley visits his rich uncle, Cash Daddy, who runs a lucrative email scam business in Nigeria. Cash Daddy is impressed by Kingsley’s aptitude and flair for ingenuity, and he soon starts scamming people under various aliases.

The family is disappointed in Kingsley’s actions and he is murdered when he involves himself in the political world. Despite not taking over Cash Daddy’s business, Kingsley sets up his own organization, an Internet café, which pleases his mother. The ending shows that people like Kingsley operate under false pretenses across the country, but there’s humor in how they’re portrayed.
